Welcome to Many Helping Hands!

HOW MANY TIMES A WEEK…do you hear stories or personally encounter people that you desperately wish you could help? Maybe you don’t have the time to stop, or maybe you don’t have the immediate resources to help. It may often seem challenging as an individual to make a difference, but as many of us have learned, groups of people can make huge changes if they put their hearts and minds into it. WITH PASSION AND LOVE… I hope we can become aware of our brothers' and sisters' needs, communicate them, and put our best foot forward in extending our many helping hands. No task is too small or too large with a force of people behind it. Please help me in exploring our community’s needs, and in placing our best efforts into helping one another out!

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS SITE?
This online “meeting place” holds a very simple purpose - that of reaching out to community members, asking them to let us help with any needs, and creating a force of people to make those differences. My intent is to offer a means of communication for people who may need help or for those who want to help. We have many helping hands to offer, let's use them!

WHERE DO WE BEGIN?

(This may seem vague and minimal, but it really IS this simple!)
  1. Recognizing a need
    • If you personally know someone or learn of someone who would like assistance, contact jodi.manyhelpinghands@gmail.com. If you post on this site please do not include any one's personal information.
    • I will also be posting various needs on the website, so please be sure to visit often!
  2. Gathering resources to help fulfill that need
    • Most importantly, we need a team of people willing to help out! For example, a parent who is not able to afford a math tutor for her child could benefit from a community member with that talent. Another example could be an elderly woman needing assistance around her house from a few volunteers.
    • With creativity, we can find ways to raise money or resources for any needs we may come by!
  3. Carrying out the need

WHAT NOW?

Please spread the word of this site, in the hopes that our community's needs will have an outlet to be channeled, heard, and solved. I am very hopeful that only good can come from this site! I am very open to any and all suggestions or ideas (just comment on the posts or follow the e-mail link to contact me).

Once this website has some followers, I will begin posting various "projects" and simple fundraising ideas. Thank you for taking the time to read this post, and I hope you'll follow this site!

Love Always,
Many Helping Hands
